I have decided not to throw in the Iowa State Championships this weekend. I don’t feel that I’m good enough to throw against the big dogs yet and I’ll pass on spending alot of money to finish in the lower half of the field. I’ll be throwing at Rand Park again this weekend and also I’ll be throwing at Hamilton’s 9 hole disc golf course on Saturday. I’m always looking for a group of disc golfers to play with or even have a little side bets with. If you are out throwing discs out at these parks this weekend, then I might see you then.

I finally competed in my first tournament of the season. I played 2 rounds of 12 holes at Washington Park. 9 regular holes and 3 temp holes. I played the first round and found myself setting in a tie for last place. I shot a 53 which was pretty good for throwing at the course for the first time. After lunch is when I turned up the heat at the tournament. I shot a awesome 49 and threw my Proline Beast Disc over 350 ft. a couple times. At the end of the second round, I leap frogged into 4th place. I was trailing the leader by 8 shots at the end of the tournament. I thought I did awesome for being my first tourney in 4 years. My next tournament will possiblity be the Iowa State Championships this weekend. The Iowa Games and the Osky Challenge is now off my list due to family things. I also found out that there will be another tournament in Washington in July.

I threw my career best at Rand Park this last weekend. I threw at 30 on the First 9 tieing my career best, threw a 31 on the Back 9 which sets a new career best. Total I threw a 61 for the whole course which is also my career best at Rand Park. I also got my first deuce of my career on hole #18. My first shot was just 5 feet short from being an ace. I now know that I’m ready to play in the tournament this weekend at Sunset Park in Washington.

Hey everybody,
I’m getting ready for my last practice weekend before I start throwing my first tournament of the season. I’m goig to be practicing at Rand Park in Keokuk and at Hamilton’s 9 hole course this weekend. My first torunamnet will be at the Sunset Showdown at Washington on the 11th of June. After that is the Iowa State Championships in Ottumwa and possiblility of the Osky Challenge at Oskaloosa. I’m also going to throw at the Iowa Games at Ames this year. Depends on how I do at the above tournaments how the rest of my year will plan out. I have a few tournaments in the fall that I’m interested in throwing at. I hope everyone has a good weekend and maybe I’ll see some of you this weekend or at a tournament.

I fish for any fish that tastes good to eat. I had fun trout fishing the most with a fly rod.

Both, I have summer visitors coming to visit and I’ll be a summer visitor.

Believer of written rules – Without written rules therer would just be Chaos.

Water – I like to swim and be around water.

Air, without air nobody would be around
04) Someone who eats their eggs plain or someone who spices them up somehow?
Spices them up – You can only eat plain eggs for so long.
05) Eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast and coffee for breakfast or muffin and a coffee for breakfast?
I’m a eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast and orange juice kinda guy.
06) Honest or likeable?
I’m an honest person. I’m also likable because I’m honest.
07) Chicken or fish?
Both, I like fish and chicken.
08) Admiring of Mahatma Gandhi or admiring of Martin Luther King Jr.?
Admiring of Martin Luther King Jr. and everything he has done.
09) Hoping this summer is a hot one or hoping this summer is a cool one?
Both. If it is hot I’ll go swimming and if it is cool I’ll go Disc Golfing.

Onesome- Last: What’s the last thing you do each day before heading to bed? Do you sit down with a cup of herbal tea? Read a bit? What’s your evening routine? Do you settle in early or are you a night owl, winding down long after the rest of the household is in bed?
Depends on how stressful my work day is. Most of the time I watch a little TV on the couch. or I’ll read instead of watching TV.
Twosome- Day: How do you start off your day? Do you stumble to the kitchen and turn on the coffee maker in a sleepy haze? Or do you wake up refreshed and rarin’ to go? Maybe somewhere in the middle?
In the middle. It all depends if I have a full night sleep.
Threesome- of School: What’s your fondest school memory? Whether it be from childhood or college, let us know!
Being on the basketball team and traveling to other schools for a game. The bus trips was awesome.
