Last weekend Iowa (2-3 6-3) beat Northern Illinois (5-4) 24-14 to become bowl eligible. The Hawkeyes will try to even their conference record when they take on Northwestern (0-5 2-7) this weekend at Kinnick Stadium. Iowa started Jake Christensen at QB for the injuried Drew tate. Iowa football fans got a glimpsie of what the new 3 years are going to be like. Jake went 19 completions out of 30 attempts for 256 yards 2 TD and a interception that was not his fault. He also had a fumble in the game. Iowa’s offense will be good next year right on time to re-build the defensive line. Drew Tate is likly to start on Saturday against Northwestern Wildcats. After this game Iowa will finished the home season against Wisconsin (5-1 8-1).
