Steve Alford is leaving Iowa for New Mexico. I believe Steve Alford couldn’t handle being in the Big Ten. I hope New Mexico knows what they are getting into. First of all why is Bobby Knight telling the AD of New Mexico to go after Alford. Why is a coach from a different school making choices for the New Mexico Lobos. I think New Mexico needs to fire their AD before Bobby Knight starts running 2 basketball programs instead of just the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

In other news Tubby Smith is coming to Minnesota to coach. This is going to be an interesting couple years seeing if Tubby can turn Minnesota around from an 9-23 record. Minnesota will be a contender for the Big Ten title on a couple years.
