Onesome: Filling– the ol’ fuel tank is getting to be real interesting lately… What are gas prices doing in your area this Summer?

Gas prices are in the upper 3 dollar to the lower 4 dollar area. Depends on what direction you go if the gas is cheaper or more expensive.

Twosome: Out- and about and you’re out of cash: the ATM or the store for a few bucks over on the check? Oh! …and debit or credit? …or are you a ‘cash economy’ person?

I’m a debit and credit card type of person. I really don’t like carrying cash on me unless I have to.

Threesome: Forms– can be a real pain! Do you have a ‘favorite’ you dislike even to think about? (…and no, the income tax forms are ‘exempt’ from this question <g>!)

Loan forms are the most pain to me to fill out. The banks need your whole life story before they will give you any money.

::Guts and Determination::

Onesome: “Guts”– sometimes can determine the outcome: whoever digs in and plays through the injuries and circumstances. What is your favorite memory of someone or a team driving past adversity to win the big one?

I remember when I played basketball when I pop my ankle out of socket in the third period and still played on it for the rest of the game. I helped my team win the game. On the way back to my school on the bus I started moving my foot around and felt it pop back into place. I was out for 2 weeks after that game.

Twosome: …and– what brought that question on? The local team won the College World Series last night, winning every elimination game possible to advance as the lowest seed ever to win a National Title. No question, just kudos to them. Okay, easy question: did you hear anything about the games where you are?

There was really no local coverage, but I always watch ESPN for my sports needs.

Threesome: Determination– helps in life: what have you accomplished through sheer determination that will remain with you as a bright spot in your life?

I was in a car wreck in 1998 that messed me up. I had determination and support from friends to finish my senior year at college and to get my degree. Now I’m a computer programmer and have a degree for it.

From the dentist’s waiting room:

Onesome:Time– wasters in your life… Just a brief jump onto your soapbox: What is the biggest bother you have in this department? I mean, something you can post without incurring familial or job related problems

Waiting on other people to make their decisions. I’m always waiting for someone on this.

Twosome: to– beat the heat! It seems like it’s all sort of hot all over the Northern Hemisphere this Summer! What are you doing to handle the heat? …and for those Down Under? Well, your turn may come in just a few months; do you have any plans for then?

Swimming, Swimming, Swimmng — This is the best way to stay cool besides eating ice cream and air conditioning

Threesome: Fill– your cup with a cold something! What are you drinking this summer to keep cool? …and if you’re a tea drinker: is it “ice tea” or “iced tea”? Just curious…

Plenty of water, Gatorade, and Ice tea.

Onesome: Gone– “Gone with the Wind”? Do you have a new “must see” movie for this Sumner?

X-men 3, Cars, and I can’t miss watching Caption Jack Sparrow this summer.

Twosome: Fish– Do you fish? What, where (and who cleans )?

I fish for any fish that tastes good to eat. I had fun trout fishing the most with a fly rod.

Threesome: in’– coming! Do you have any Summer visitors headed your way? …or are you the one(s) doing the traveling?

Both, I have summer visitors coming to visit and I’ll be a summer visitor.

Onesome- Last: What’s the last thing you do each day before heading to bed? Do you sit down with a cup of herbal tea? Read a bit? What’s your evening routine? Do you settle in early or are you a night owl, winding down long after the rest of the household is in bed?

Depends on how stressful my work day is. Most of the time I watch a little TV on the couch. or I’ll read instead of watching TV.

Twosome- Day: How do you start off your day? Do you stumble to the kitchen and turn on the coffee maker in a sleepy haze? Or do you wake up refreshed and rarin’ to go? Maybe somewhere in the middle?

In the middle. It all depends if I have a full night sleep.

Threesome- of School: What’s your fondest school memory? Whether it be from childhood or college, let us know!

Being on the basketball team and traveling to other schools for a game. The bus trips was awesome.

Onesome: We’re after the same rainbow’s end- What’s your pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Happiness, true friendship, money?

Happiness and true freindship will last forever, but money is always a great thing.

Twosome: Waiting around the bend- Anything interesting coming just ’round the bend for you?

House and Lawn work is coming around the bend. Also Disc Golf tournaments are just around the corner.

Threesome: My Huckleberry friend- Huckleberries, what are they anyway?? Seriously though, what’s the strangest fruit you’ve ever eaten? Did you like it or hate it?

Egg Plant, I liked it if it is fried.

Onesome: Wuthering–What kind of word is that anyway? Do you have a word you think is just strange? “Kangaroo” comes to mind …

The word that is strange to me is “deadbolt”. Who came up with this name and why?

Twosome: Heights–Are you afraid of them or can you dance along the rooftop coping like a character in a movie?

If the height is less than 20 feet then I’m alright. If the height is higher than that then I’ll start wondering if I’m safe at that height.

Threesome: (and lows)– What kind of insect or bug sends you low and scurrying? Do spiders do that to you? Wasps? …or do you just squish everything that “bugs” you?

I’m a squishing kind of guy when it comes to bugs. The only bugs that I stay away from are the poisonous ones.

From the vacation division

Onesome: Packing–What type of packing do you do when you travel? Are you one of those who carefully does the “traveler’s roll” with each peace of clothing and tucks it carefully away? …or does everything more or less just find its way into the car somehow?

I’m the type of person that throws all of their clothes in a bag and don’t worry about it until I get to the destination. A lot of the stuff I pack finds its way in the van especially my son’s toys that he wants to take.

Twosome: for a– change of pace how about a guided tour of any building or place you’d like to visit: where would you go if you had that opportunity?

I have two answers for this question. The first one is the Kennedy Space Center with I had already had a tour there once before. I wished the tour showed more. The second one is a guided tour of a Disc Golf Company. I always wanted to know how they create the discs and assessories.

Threesome: Trip– Where are you off to on your next trip? …or if you’re stuck in place for a while, where would you like to go? …and yes, “Anywhere!!!” is an okay answer!

I’m planning on going to Mexico in the fall and possibility Las Vegas for a weekend escape.
